I have never had Marmite,so I asked one of my mates what does it taste like.His answer was "shit with nuts in"how would you describe the taste.??

O god, marmite factory is not too far from me and it wafts to my house if the winds in the wrong direction i use it when cooking especially in a roast dinner on beef, gravy stock, roast potatoes, stew ect but on toast? No give me the sick bucket.

I'm not bothered about marmite. It's ok.

I do love marmite cashews because the taste really works with the bland creaminess of cashew.

It's a deeply savoury, salty, rich umami taste. I find a very little goes a long way.
