I’m turning back to my car.

Fuel is cheaper than the food I use to fuel for the 20 mile cycle to work.

I get more mpg out of diesel than I do out of protein and carbs.

I can top that.

BP station nearest to me £1.59.9 diesel

Blatant profiteering even in the knowledge of a Tesco station still at £1.46.9

Funnily enough, the forecourt of the BP, empty. Tesco….queuing off the main road.

Thing is, cost of a barrel of crude oil was more expensive 8 years than it is today yet petrol didn't cost anywhere near what it does now. We are quite simply being ripped off and are going to be ripped off even more.

"I can remember it being 50p(10 shillings)"

Shouldn't that be 10 shillings (50p) ?

I remember it going up to 6/4d a gallon..... and we went ballistic.

That's 32p for 4 and half litres.....

The price is advertised in litres cos if it was still sold by the gallon you'd SHIT every time you saw the price.

It's going down in price soon to 99 p

It will be sold by the tablespoon tho ....

There has been a reduction in the list of legitimate users.

Still buying it and will be for the foreseeable future.
