First world problems

Considering the situation going on in Ukraine and having sat for over an hour, counselling an impacted student today, I feel somewhat embarrassed to be complaining, so I'll couch it as a #firstworldproblem

Daughter's belated birthday party planned for tomorrow, 20-odd kids coming. Party bags done. Sis in law made mega cake. Food bought. Ball pool and community hall hired. Bish, bash, bosh. Done.

But no. She's ill. Puking ill. No party tomorrow. Everything cancelled. Tons of phonecalls to other parents etc. Urgh.

So, that's my first world problem today. Tomorrow's might be "we are also puking"

Any more to add to today?!

My first world problem is that in order to access the Livi app on my phone I have to activate screen lock. I don't want to activate screen lock, I don't want an app telling me I have to

We have a kid who is puking at the very sight of food. Mr KC doesn't like cake (yes, he IS weird). Our son has gone into self imposed isolation at his girlfriend's house. That leaves.......me. To eat a cake designed for 20-odd people. If I'm not now, I will be after all that

I'm also many, many kilos too heavy already

In the west.

I hope she feels better soon. Not liking cake isn't a bad thing.

My first world problem is truly shocking. The fingerprint ID has disappeared off my phone and I have to type my passcode in.
