Gone too soon

Liverpool

More often than not lots of TV shows get criticised for out staying their welcome and going on too long.

Nobody ever really mentions those that ended too soon, either cancelled or just a short run story.

Which TV shows do you feel ended too soon?

For me one of the main shows is MIND HUNTER on netflix, not really ended but is on a hiatus for the foreseeable future.

"GOT was also finished too soon felt rushed by the end "

That's an anomaly! A weird little blimp in TV shows.

It ended poorly and should have had 1 more season to play out everything they rushed in a single season of 6 episodes. BUT honestly as soon as the show surpassed the source material with very little to adapt further at that point I kind of am thankful it did end quickly.

The Newsroom by Aaron Sorkin, certainly had more legs. One of the best opening of a series ever, those who have seen it will be aware of what scene I’m talking about.

Phoenix Nights I’m originally from Bolton and been in those types of clubs. It captures them perfectly and also very funny as well.

Not the biggest Peter Kay fan but Car Share was also quite good as well.

Standard answer.... Firefly

Non standard answer... Space Island One/Earth2, both shown originally on Sky Two when it launched and sadly one season was shown of both (although season 2 of space Island one was shown in Germany)

When I first watched it I thought ‘here we go again ) but then remembered this was the writer of The West Wing. Just like yourself I find myself watching it on YouTube occasionally
