"No. My parents wouldn’t have encouraged such dependencies. My mother was never known for her sentimentality That said, I loved my Sindys and Barbies and all of their paraphernalia. It just wouldn’t have occurred to me to attach the same importance to a cuddly toy or blanket. Basically, if it had no play value, I wasn’t interested in it." Sentimentality and the west coast don't go hand in hand. My parents were the same.

It was well before my 33rd birthday I gave it up at least! I do think it's linked to my woman in lingerie kink as I like to touch and run my fingers on their lacy and silky bits like I did with my blanket.

"My parents were never sentimental like that. I would have loved to look through all my favourite toys, artwork, schoolwork etc once I reached adulthood. It's only really photos that my mum and dad left for us. I'm making a very good point to do this for my children. I'm not sure if I ever had a favourite teddy or blanket. " I don't have a teddy but my parents did keep schoolwork and some other things, so I try to think of what my kids might enjoy when they're older. Four of them though - so much stuff!
