Should we be worried ? What’s it actually all about?

Of course war is always worrying, particularly when it is started by a rogue nuclear state.

Yup. Mad dictator wanting more space for his people. Sound familiar? Plus a veiled threat of terrible retribution . This man has used radioactive and nerve agents to kill opponents. That was here in the U.K.

Should we be worried about Ukraine, no not directly. It is what comes after Ukraine which is the true deciding factor on the future.

I say this based upon events, not the suffering and bloodshed that is happening right now to the Ukrainian people.

"Yup. Mad dictator wanting more space for his people. Sound familiar? Plus a veiled threat of terrible retribution . This man has used radioactive and nerve agents to kill opponents. That was here in the U.K."

Part of where we are now is the wishy washy response of the use of such weapons on our soil..

But when you have a political party which is taking donations from those happy to use them then therein lies an issue..

Unless of course you are Ukrainian.

Depends. First is the invasion. Then USA will defend. Then UK will support USA. Then China will support Russia. Then WW3 and there'll be no one left on a smoking cinder of a planet. Or maybe nothing will come of it, like when Russia invaded Crimea.

I'm not sure what you mean by nothing will come of it. Its already started with oil prices soaring. Nuclear war is not the only severe consequence that could happen that will have massive impacts on all of our daily lives.

See that trump is backing ?? putin and the republicans have been quiet as well !! and scary times ahead but depressing more than anything and we are just sat here waiting for the BUT it would be far worse under that jeremy bloke ?? like having a bloke who's mates are all in the pocket of the russians in charge could get any worse ??? and we are basically totally and utterly powerless to act ....140 Thousand russian troops compared to our army that you could easily fit in wembley footieball ground ???

Except its not UK vs Russia. Its the west (nato and USA) vs Russia (and likely China and a few others).

Numbers do not win a war, long gone are the days of man v man, it is all machine v machine. Tactics, air superiority and technological advancements are what win wars.

Vietnam being a slight exception, but that was a special case in and of itself anyway.
