maybe showing our inexperience here but since testing positive for covid we won't be sharing our bed for a while, it feels weird not sleep beside someone after having someone there for so long. was curious about others thoughts on this.

I prefer sleeping without my partner. I miss the cuddles but I'm such a light sleeper and he's so loud and constantly moving around so whenever I get a chance to sleep without him I jump at it.

Maybe facetime until you fall asleep if you'll miss the cuddles. At least it isn't for long.

When K had it she quarantined herself away in the spare room for a week or so. It was all super weird for us because we love touching each other and cuddling in bed. It was tough and strange but it had to be done, and it mad the cuddles afterwards even better

ye i think it will, she got upset about it so felt weird not hugging her, since it's just a natural reaction at this point.

Chams or Socials

We carried on sharing a bed even though T was clinically vulnerable. He didn’t catch it.

My mum was hospitalised & ventilated (pre-vaccine) but my dad never caught it.

A friend died from it but her husband never caught it.

It’s a bloody weird virus

I don't mind having the bed to myself every so often just to starfish and settle without worrying I'm disturbing anyone else. The Mr on the other hand hates the bed to himself and can't sleep without me there xT

We both had together. That said, there is no way on earth I'd have convinced her ladyship that I was sleeping in the spare room if one or other of us needed to isolate. As far as we were concerned, just the same as when her son had it, the house was contagious, we all isolated together.

no matter

You get used to it I guess .. think I have slept alone for 24 years was the snoring that did it I really miss cuddling, though just sometimes would be nice to even sleep back to back touching feet lol but being held is my most missed thing .

Think it’s the beginning of the end to be in separate rooms once the closeness goes it’s pretty much over.

Shame really
