Is it just me or some of the best clicks you have are with people who live miles and miles away… so unfair!

It's frustrating but I do believe if that connection is genuine and worthwhile then you will meet eventually.

Actually thinking about it, the people who I am closest to I met online. My partner I met on Bebo over 10 years ago, we met up and we are still together. A group of women I met on a forum when I was 14, have had meets and we still contact each other most days.

If it is meant to be, you will cross paths.

I only chat to those I could realistically meet so I don't feel your pain

It's probably a better connection because you both know meeting probably won't happen. Takes any pressure off.

A lot of people seem to only chat to those they come across on the forum too. Maybe local contacts aren't given as much of a chance?

Totally agree with this. Very similar situation with the friends thing.

Too much of a good thing ….

If it’s not on your doorstep it far more worth the distant and wait time
