Has anyone ever had to change career paths because of doctors advice. Will be off work for At least another 3 months due to operations and recovery but not sure i could work in a office.

Yes and it sucks, although at first the time off is very nice.

Just getting my head around the idea that I might have to work in an office again (Miss).

Look for jobs that are office based but involve getting out and about meeting people so whilst you have an office base you do still get out in the fresh air.

I had to give up a 9 to 5 job to be able to cope with an illness and hospital visits etc, now I work as a Retail Field Exec, and I love it, its the most flexible job you could ever have, i'll never get rich but I love what i do.
