I am going to give 2 answers from 1982 when I was 14 and I started to appreciate and get some understanding of the game the best I saw play for Man Utd would be Wayne Rooney. If I use my knowledge and history of the game then Bobby Charlton just shades George Best

Yes all in my time too but so many good ones beforehand. I’m laughing though, Nayim he’s only good for that goal for another team

Current crop I’d pick Son over Kane and add in Erickson, Alderweld, Jan and Dembele. Plus Moura will always be there

Nayim became infamous after he left spurs for scoring a cracking last minute goal (from the half way line) against that south London team, in the UEFA Cup Winners Cup, or whatever it was called

I don’t think he regrets the decision and he does have a premier league winners medal but I bet he always wonders what else he could have won if he’d went elsewhere.

Agree. Only natural to wonder, what if.

Teddy Sheringham left for that reason, won everything then returned. I was one of those that wanted Kane to leave last summer, why delay the inevitable. No point being the best in stats, yet win nothing in career.

. As a Man Utd fan I would have loved Alan Shearer to have played for Man Utd.Yes he would have won more trophies and more medals and goals which he has acknowledged. However he also said what he achieved at Newcastle was priceless and no amount of trophies , medals and goals could ever take away what he really wanted which he achieved which was to score goals for Newcastle in front of the Gallowgate end

Funny how things work out though because United ended up signing Solskjaer instead who scored that Champions League winning goal to win the treble so no guarantees we would've won the CL with Shearer. Guess everything worked out for the best for both teams
