Wondering if such things exist on here or anyone has done it ?

Thinking of going away mid march but not wanting to go alone , do holiday buddies exist ?

They exist, but I'm presuming you're hoping to find a woman to go along with you? If so, that's a huge ask and risk for a woman to go on holiday with you imo

I would have thought that you need to be ‘buddies’ first before you could even consider going on holiday with someone. Unless it’s just to split the costs for travel to and from and you both do your own thing when you are there. Or have I misunderstood the concept?

This depends on your definition of a travel buddy.

If you want to go on holiday or explore places you can find like minded people on other sites tailored for this very thing. A friend of mine did this, travelled all over with people she didn't know and have now all become great friends.

However I feel that you might have different requirements for a travel buddy

There's a buddy I'd love to take on holiday but sadly I'm not sure there will ever be an opportunity

On a mooch

There are specific companies that get groups of singles together for trips, mostly tours.

Not my kind of thing as like to do what I want, when I want with no set agenda except a few must dos

Even with mates it can be difficult, different ideas of what a holiday, although discussed beforehand. Not something I’d rush into again
