Parts of the West Midlands was hit last night by a 2.8 magnitude earthquake. Early reports are it did £2 million of improvements to areas of Tipton.

My school geology teacher would of had a field day! He managed to sleep through the Dudley earthquake in 2003 which he was most dejected over lol.

Fun fact, there is a huge fissure beneath the west Midlands that stretches from Warwickshire to Staffordshire. The chances of it rupturing are exceptionally small because of how deep it is, but if it did the lava would be runny and would create a shield volcano.
