If you meet someone more than once - do you feel the need to re-verify?

Would you get upset if they didn't leave you one or vice versa?

Do you think it's just bumping up the numbers you/they have or see it as 'territorial pissing' or bragging?

Would it put you off meeting someone if you saw it on a profile?

What are your thoughts? Figured I'd throw this out there as its cropped up a couple of times in conversations at meets and socials.

Personally - I see a veri as confirmation that a meet went well, whether play or social, that the people involved were nice and obviously who their profile claims them to be - and an indication of whether a good time was had by those involved. If subsequently a further meet occurs - why would there be a need to repeat yourself, unless the situation was drastically different - i.e first meet social, second meet play?

We're all different of course - but what's your take on this?

we verify as a social,ie drink /chat. then if we play they get another but generally thats it, unless we dont see them for along while

We agree that, as a general rule one verification from the same people. I suppose they could send one for each meet but if they did we would only display one. I've seen one profile with, I think 8 verifications, all from the same person!

Not my thing i see no need .. if have one from a person .. some thay send as it looks like thay are dating as see so much , lol maybe thats why .

I very rarely verify once let alone more than that

I think a whole list of veris from the same person is like marking territory and I wonder why there is a need to keep saying the same thing over and over again

I have a couple of repeat veris on my profile and I sent back in return, I just see it as a form of thank you, it also lets you know that people are not just one off wonders lol

I am guilty of verifying someone three times.

The first as a cam veri as I thought I would not get to.meet them for ages.

The second as I managed to grab a coffee so a meeting in person veri.

The third as I got to spend much more time with her.

I will not leave any more veris even.though I hope.to.see lots more of her.

I guess its up to the recipient to judge if one veri or all of them.are.shown not the sender.

The territorial and/or bragging ones do put me off meeting people.

I like to receive verifications and I do give them, rarely more than once, but if I had two I would only show one. Most of mine are hidden and I sometimes rotate them.

We have played with plenty off our verified list more than once or twice and unless something noteworthy occurred there would be no point at all in re verifying ?

The verification system works for us in determining whether there is a compatability sexually - but verifications from the same people time after time kinda tells us they may be more after verifications than fun !!!!

I agree with this unless like you have said Obi, the first was perhaps a social meet.

What I find odd is verification solely from the same person/people on profiles, would definitely make me think well they only play with them so no point messaging.

We do have repeat meets, would only really verify once, as said it all...unless it was a long time apart or like recently for us, the person left the site and has now returned.

I do have 2 from quite a few people, but tend to hide an older one if someone I am repeatedly meeting writes a newer one

we have met guys more than once but only verified the first time. We pm a thank you for any subsequent meets.I feel its manners to say thank you.

Social or cam verifications then going on to the meet the person & verifying again I find is no problem, doesn't bother me.

When I see so many from one person I always think they're "marking their territory" and tend to avoid...

Someone contacted me recently who had 15 veris in 3 months on the site.. 14 of these were from the same person

End of the day i know who ive met and how many times its no ones business but mine..

i dont display them as had a few odd encounters of guys mailing other men ive met.

I guess it shows that a person does meet regularly though even if it was with a previous meet

I have a tendency to only show social veri's.

What goes on behind closed doors is the business of myself and the other person(s) involved.

I generally find that each time you meet someone socially you find something new to torment them with and what better way than with a veri ?

Doesn't phase me either way whether they show it or not or if they respond in kind.

Two ways of looking at this: one from our POV when targetting, er, sorry - looking for new playmates (lol!), and the one from their POV when showing their veris.

We would take it as a good sign if someone displayed 2 or 3 veris from one person/couple, so long as they were interspersed with veris from others. It says to us that 'someone' wants to meet them more than once, which suggests to us that the play is likely to be good (well.... possibly! Lol!)

But..... too many veris from the same person/couple, one after another and we would find that off-putting, possibly to the point of appearing a little desperate...

However, it depends what kind of swinging you're into as the one showing the veris, and what kind of person you're trying to attract. If you want a lot of one-off meets, then a long list of single-meet veris will tell anyone searching exactly what you want and the kind of person you want to hear from. If, like us, it's a mixture of people who will hopefully become repeat friends, but 'may' be a one-off, then the veris list would reflect this.

I am unsure what to do I have hidden all my verifications and then displayed them again over the last few days. I have a few from the same guys and like that this shows I don't just meet one offs. It also makes things clear to everyone that I am meeting others so there is no confusion. I am not so sure I like the detail that are in some of mine though and wonder what impression they are making

I have a friend who has been verified 8 times by the same woman some on consecutive days. I see this as her marking her territory and was put off slightly meeting him for drinks and catch ups as don't want any agro from her. There is no need to verify more than once as a verify is meant to prove someone is genuine.

We often meet people more than once but don't re-verify everytime.

The only exceptions maybe if we have met for a social then at a later date a play meet.

We haven't seen them for ages, met one couple again after not seeing or talking to them for 3 years.

Repeat verifications (2-3) generally don't put us off as at least it shows they were worth meeting more than once. The only time we find it a off putting is if they haven't got any others and they are all from the same person or they have loads all saying the same thing...usually want to keep him/them to myself.

Sophie, you don't have to show all your veris - you can go into 'Manage Verifications' and show, say, the most recent one from each of the guys. That's what we have done and it others have told us it looks much better for it.
