.. As Paul Weller said... Life is timeless, days are long when you're young...

How are things different now from when you were "young"?

No time for yourself and at everyone's beck n call.

Even the bloody shags are grumpy and demanding!

My bones ache and I don’t like people.

Not much had changed.

I’m lot older

Feel like my bones creak

Everything seems to take me a little more time now

Life seemed simple when younger

Times have changed

Not always for the good

Belfast

When I was young it was a whole different world surrounded by death and destruction and so many personal responsibilities.

I had to become an adult at 12 and the next 12 years went by in a blur with no teenage experiences.

Now I am more in control of my destiny and am no longer just the glue that holds everything together.

Going out out on a Saturday ruins my week rather than my Sunday.

In the west.

This is going to seem like a generalisation but I can assure it isn't.

I see lots of young guys, teenagers & early 20's, that are downright rude and abusive to everyone outside of their social circle. In some ways I blame TV programmes and films for that, as that type of behaviour is becoming more and more common in the characters. Newspapers & media outlets catch on to that and give column inches to them as it sells papers or increase the click rate on their sites.

As I said at the start of the message it isn't all as there are many many young lads who are the exact opposite in real life and TV etc, they just don't get the publicity.
