Sounds like heaven to me. It could work, biut the possibility is there for real disaster. I'd love to be in a position to try it someday.

Having two penises would be great, having two men would be a headache. I'll stick with my hubby and a dildo.

I see no reason why not as long as everyone goes into it with the right mindset.

Definitely won’t work for me. I discovered great discomfort and inconvenience to my freedom in 2way relationship. I mean to say relationship is not just sex. It’s way more complicated.

But I think 3 way fwb - ideal combo

I used to date a woman who was part of that dynamic, they'd been doing it for several years. Takes a lot of communication and organisation.

There's a saying about polyamory: come for the threesomes, stay for the spreadsheets

We’ve known a throuple in the past that seemed to be making it work. Can’t imagine it’s easy to find the right person though to fit everyone’s dynamic and preferences

We'd definitely like a handsome local regular guy to be the 3rd in our relationship.

From the start of our fab/swinging journey the aim was always to find a sort of boyfriend for Mrs, someone we meet with once or twice a month all three of us together but in time as relationship/trust grows then Mrs and her lover can meet separately too.

Hopefully we will find the right guy and we can let you know how it works out!

I was thinking the same about two women.

You'd never get any time in the bathroom, no doubt their periods would sync and they'd be fucking grouchy at the same time each month, you'd have even less of the bed sheets than you presently do and the electricity bills would go through the roof with two sets of straighteners, two hairdryers, two mains wands........

Threesomes are fine of the night. But for life.....?

Two men would be ideal as long as they done all the cooking and washing.

I have certainly heard of examples of this that seem to be going well. Just remember there's a lot more to it than having sex. A long-term relationship with one other person is hard enough.

I’m sure it works for some. Wouldn’t work for me.

It's definitely more complicated. Especially if your talking about an equal 3 way relationship rather than one where you have a primary couple and a shared secondary partner. Not impossible, not wrong. But essentially in an equal 3 way relationship adding an extra personality can add complications. A lot depends not just on chemistry but the personalities, nature and emotional intelligence of all. Its no good one or two of you being good in these areas. Like all relationships all must be good in this area. Plus all must be great at communicating honestly, openly and clearly. Plus to some extent experienced in good relationships. Relationship skills aren't something that just magically appear, relationships are a skill we learn. As such good role models, experience and learning lessons from the past really help.

The above put more simply is a 3 way relationship can work just as well (or as bad) as a couple depending on the individuals in it.
