If a woman goes out of her way to talk to a man what does it mean? I've always been a gentleman and assumed they were just being polite but over years I've realised I've missed out on quite a few potential mates. What do you think?

I chat to alot of people, it doesn't mean I want to meet them. You need to to see if there's a connection with a possibility of a meet.

It doesn’t allways mesn they are interested. I talk to people as I’m social doesn’t mean I want anything further

Does a 10-15 minute drive count as out of their way?

If I take time out of my day to speak with someone that means I'm interested, I don't give my time easily.

It depends on the woman I suppose. There are men I'd go out of my way to speak to that I'm not remotely interested in sexually. I'm very wary of doing so though and judge carefully which men I am friendly towards because some confuse general interest with sexual interest.

Delightful Bliss

Nothing more than a passing interest In engaging in conversation with him, if I have a sexual interest in him I'd tell him

Ooft, it means I really like you. I don’t often put myself out there, so I’d need to be keen to do this!

"Very mixed responses so far"

Because we're all individuals with widely varying personalities.

I talk to people I don't know all the time. It doesn't mean I want to shag them.

Depends what you mean by "out of their way"

Like if I went to a specific place just to say hello, then I would be interested. Like going in a certain shop/cafe/pub. But that could also be seen as a bit stalkery...
