I grabbed a pair of pants and turtleneck, went to the bathroom, came back, and they’ve disappeared. Does anyone else get their short term memory wiped?

In the monkey house

I’m lucky. I don’t suffer from any short term memory loss.

I often find hubby standing in a room looking confused and wondering why he went in there!

Yep, happens from time to time.

Left my keys in the front door the other day. I didn’t notice until I’d got to my office and had to go back home to get them.

Check the towel rail in the bathroom. That’s where my clothes disappear to!

Check the laundry basket.

I'm always misplacing clothing.

I've found my knickers in my bed when I've had them in my hand and decided to make my bed before getting dressed.

How are you sure it's short term memory loss and not a burglar with a fetish for pants and turtlenecks ?

I forget I've taken my tablets some mornings. I realised one day when I suddenly felt very light-headed and weak.

There are little people that live in your house, they come out and “borrow” things

(Bollocks do they borrow, they damn well steel stuff, is what they do)

I am sure this is true, I seem to remember seeing a documentary on the telly about it

If it was sex, you might as well log out again. That sort of thing isn’t welcome here

I think many of you have been distracted by genitals, bums and/ or boobs on Fab and not paying attention to other tasks rather than early onset of dementia

Yes my short term memory has been badly affected. I have strategies to remember things now that I'm aware it's a problem.

I found this today with wallpaper samples - I've been waiting for them for days. D'oh!

I do this with my phone. Then spend way too long looking for it.
