Has the pandemic change your thoughts about swinging for better or worse?

Swabs.

A quick throat swab before we meet, to see if they gag on it.

If they do, no meet.

If they don’t, and even try to take the swab even deeper (while maintaining eye contact, of course) then I just know it’s going to be a GREAT meet!

I just want to enjoy my life now and swinging is a big part of that. Let loose and get those two years of our lives back!

Personally I think the whole staying away from people was a great idea.

I'm going to stick with that.

No, they’re the same as they always were. I look forward, not back. I see little gain in lamenting over time lost. It’s gone, and that’s all there is to it. It was an event I had zero to minute amount of control over.

I resolve to continue as I’ve always done. Meet people, try to make friends, do loads of sex.

.

It hasn't really changed my thoughts on swinging but it has changed my thoughts on me.

I'm more determined this year to not let self doubt, laziness (due to general comfort) and wavering body confidence stop me from seeing people for things - whether that's coffee, club/party nights, socials or sexual shenanigans.

I agree that it has given me time to think how I feel about the lifestyle and realise how natural this is for me and many of us

I must admit, covid never changed anything for me swinging wise. I don't go to clubs or meet lots of people. So for me it's business as usual x

It has made me realise I don’t want to meet men for casual sex. Being on here during that time highlighted how selfish some folk are and it made me see the meeting side of things in an ugly light and it has totally put me off. I don’t think I could force myself to be sociable for sociable sake either. I just want to be left alone.

However the forums and the folk that used them sort of held my hand in an emotional sense when I needed it. There are some good eggs on here.

Stockport

No idea what my attitude will be post pandemic. I'm getting a bit more resigned to the difficulties of mid pandemic, but very wary of what might happen when next pandemic comes along (probably already started tbh, we just haven't noticed it yet). If we ever get to the post pandemic phase I'll breathe a momentary sigh of relief, then go out to explore the ruined remains of society...

"And in the death

As the last few corpses lay rotting on the slimy

Thoroughfare

The shutters lifted in inches in Temperance Building

High on Poacher's Hill

And red, mutant eyes gaze down on Hunger City

No more big wheels

Fleas the size of rats sucked on rats the size of cats

And ten thousand peoploids split into small tribes

Coverting the highest of the sterile skyscrapers

Like packs of dogs assaulting the glass fronts of Love-Me Avenue

Ripping and rewrapping mink and shiny silver fox, now legwarmers

Family badge of sapphire and cracked emerald

Any day now

The Year of the Diamond Dogs

This ain't Rock'n'Roll

This is Genocide"

I don’t think the pandemic has changed me or what I am wanting from life. It’s been a reminder about how fragile life can be but I have always felt that I make the most of my life so I will carry on doing that

Not on swinging but reaffirmed life is for living, you don’t know what is around the corner, so just get on with it and enjoy
