So how many have you lost?

Or what other damage has mother nature inflicted?

I've just got home to discover I've 2 down already and a 3rd is not looking promising

My nan’s spare room.

If only it was a fence panel. 30 ft Beech tree.

This is why I love living in a maisonette, we live on top of another so have no garden so for once in my life I don't have to worry about fence panels lol.

Oh

I had the same thing last year with a large oak coming down in a storm and blocking my drive.

The only bonus was when the rest of the tree was cut down - much better signal for the sky dish!

This is very true, but you do have to carry your shopping upstairs each time

Unless you are posh and have a lift!

When I went to America in 1986, all the trees in Oklahoma on Route 66 were growing at about a 45° angle

I don't want to look till its over. I lost some few weeks and it was not even very strong wind that time. It's not as bad as some others have had it and feel sorry for them but I still don'tike it. I have Earplugs on to muffle the sound, it's awful

Serious question- are fen ecpanels covered by house insurance in these circumstances? I just don't know. I never claimed for the ones I had to fix before

Haven’t lost any thankfully. Had them all replaced last year, new posts and panels.

T's & C's apply

Most home insurance policies exclude storm damage to fences. But worth checking the small print. I did with mine and it’s not covered

In future if you want to prevent blown out fences, get hit and miss fencing. I replaced mine 2 years ago since we have so many storms these days

3 down here although it looks like someone has driven a car through the gardens as everyone for about 5 house along has lost at least two.

Still at work so I'm hoping I don't have to go knocking on my neighbours door asking for my garden furniture or bbq back.
