We are staying in Covent garden for a few days next week. We have shows booked but are there any places to go after a show mid week. Either for meals or just drinks?

Punch and Judy is good for drinks. You are right near Leicester Square so there’s literally loads of eating places to choose from x

Yeah they always have been when I’ve been. May be worth booking if you find somewhere you particularly like x

You will not go hungry or thirsty in that area, I can guarantee it. Lots of places but can be busy sometimes. I wouldn't worry too much though as ouf you don't know might be best to have a little wonder and pick something you like. Enjoy.

Hit China Town, if you like Chinese food, I am pretty sure the restaurants will still be open.

Yes all those areas relatively close, Covent Garden, Chinatown, soho, shaftesbury Ave etc etc. Full of bars and eateries.

Late drinks, although a bit expensive but try Empire casino or The Hippodrome both in Leicester Square. Loads of other bars in that general area. Have a great trip.

There used to be a FANTASTIC little tequila/mezcal bar in Covent Garden. The Mexican grub in there was pretty sweet, too. No idea if it's still open though.

If you’re referring to El Nivel on Maiden Lane then I’m afraid it closed some years ago.

Go to Sugar Sin tor sweets before hand… it’s a brilliant shop for “upmarket” pick and mix

I can't remember what it was called for the life of me! That does sound feasible though. Sad to hear it's gone! Is the Pink Chihuahua in Soho still going?
