I’m not a fan of raisins/sultanas but like them in…..

I can’t stand raisins/sultanas/prunes in fact most dried fruit, but like them in a few things I have tried like scones, Peshawari naans, stollen and the occasional Eccles cake.

So I am not adverse to trying something just because I hate a component of it.

What do you detest individually but are open to trying, or even enjoy after having tried etc etc?

"Coronation chicken "

I like that too and it traditionally has raisins/sultanas in. As well as a biriani also a good taste.

I like most raw nuts but can’t stand anything that’s got them cooked in. Like chocolate bars with nuts or ice cream with them on top or cakes.

Same with coconut. I love pieces of coconut but cakes and bounty bars make me gip

I love chocolate but I don’t like chocolate ice cream or chocolate bits in my ice cream. I also avoid chocolate cake if there is a different choice.

I only like onion in a small number of things. Either cooked into a meal but cut up so small you don't bite into a chunk of onion or cut up really small on a burger. I do like caramelised onion though.

I once bought two bags of the wrong kind of dried fruit but when I took them back to the shop they would only swap them for one bag of sultanas.

It’s hard to believe the currant exchange rate!

I also hate raisins (dead spiders without legs ), but do like a mince pie.

Hate peanuts, except in a snickers.
