I am getting extremely worried and concerned now. A guy is consistently messaging on here. His messages are quite intimidating. Everytime I block him he opens a new account, messages a couple of times before I then realise its the guy I've blocked.

He always denies, but his pics are identical. This last time he has attached a few different pics to his profile which appear to be someone else's, maybe a porn site, I'm not sure but definitely not his.

Anyway he has been intimidating again tonight so again I've blocked him.

Would you class this behaviour as verging on stalking, he's upsetting and unerving me now.

Just had to say cuz he's scaring me and I'm not sure where to turn apart from keep blocking

It's definitely problematic behaviour. I'd report to admin, turn off newbies and unverified people, and just keep blocking.

Yes, concerning

Block newbies op and possibly non site supporters, it might deter him if he has to pay £5 everytime he wants to rejoin and message you.

I blocked again earlier. He's scaring me as his location changes on his profiles, I have no idea where or how close this guy could now be to me.

I reported and blocked him last time he did it. He isn't a newbie and knows exactly what he's doing, that's what is unnerving me

Report it and block new accounts from messaging.

His behaviour is repeated and unwanted but does not meet stalking ‘criteria’.

Isn't it diabolical that people can't just have something amazing with sexual Freedom without a small contingent preying on them?

Policing is almost impossible which drives the genuine underground. Is it any wonder that cliques form and getting in becomes difficult nay impossible?

A second pay as you go simcard with a spare phone we all have from old contracts and a swinging WhatsApp will go a very long way to ing out those that have less than honourable intent

This sounds horrible .

With regards to not being able to report him, you can do it on your phone, but if you get the code wrong, you have to refresh your page to get a new one, it doesn’t do it automatically.

By blocking newbies people mean block new and unverified profiles from messaging you. It's a site filter you can use.

Or simply stop engaging in his his 'game'. Don't reply to any messages you think might be him.

Exactly the same thing happened to me, had it go on for a couple of years. report it. If you feel brace you can report the police because it comes under cyber crime, online harassment.

Mine stopped when I started seeing a new FB who is in the Police, he took my messages and profile details and dealt with it, not sure what he did but it stopped soon after.

"Could you also change your username to make it harder for him to find you again?"

And this, and hide your photos for a while. Make yourself unrecognisable and change your location to the opposite end of the country. He will struggle to find you then.

Central

Report. Block. Set filters to almost the maximum, or the maximum.

Be prepared to report to the police, who will be supportive.

Consider paying for site supporter, to change your username. He may find you by distance from him, so he may work out who you are, even when changed. A profile revamp, new text and pics, could confuse him though, if you change the username and he tries to find you by location.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I had already done everything most mentioned. This is the 4th time now that I've reported his new profile. He is very devious when he first contacts, which throws me for a couple of messages, hiding his profile, introducing himself, and responding to whatever status update we have put on.

I only posted to ask if others thought it could be classed as any sort of cyber crime and now someone has said yes it can.

I have the messages saved many unanswered, and those answered just read "" leave me alone"". So that's 3 different profile messages saved now. Hopefully I won't have to save anymore. But thank you for listening, xxxxx Suzi

I don’t get this ….if he sets up a new account you can block anyone who’s new (newbie). Then he won’t be able to message you at all, unless he has an established account with verifications. If he does have an established account then that can be blocked

If you’ve done everything then this problem will have gone away by now.

This isn’t a criticism but endless comments telling you to filter out newbie accounts, have you ?

Change your username and the style of your picture that’s displayed.

Block all newbies and non verified.

Iv had something similar except I gave them my number the first time and I now get contacted every few months by a random ‘new’ person with some crap via what’s app. They also make profiles on here. I just ignore them and block the new number on my phone. I have no idea who they are and it’s been happening for a year. It’s odd but I never give my actual address or the area/real name out so I’m not afraid they will go any further.

They are probably just bored and lonely.
