Bad Messages in Movies

What messages in movies do you consider as bad?

"Follow your dreams" is one of the most prominent messages in movies, especially animated family films for example, which I believe is a bad message as it makes people especially kids believe that anyone can make it to the big time when in reality, it is nigh on impossible.

But anyone can. It is just going to require more than an attempt.

Don't mistake anyone as a meaning for everyone.

It is not a bad message, it is just a poorly detailed message. That needs a follow up of "but you might fail"

Plenty of people have started with nothing and no experience or notable talent, and made it big. They may have had talent or a knowledge but sometimes all you need is the drive to do it and learn along the way.

You sure as shit won't get there if you don't follow your dreams.

Respecting your opinion but I think that is a bit glass half empty approach.

I would always tell my kids to follow their dreams and dreams do not always have to involve making the big time, I would also teach them on how to deal with disappointment and that failure can ultimately lead to success and that everything is learning experience and helps us grow.

This is good indeed. There is nothing wrong with having certain goals and ambitions. It's just with big dreams like being a movie star for example, it's kind of a million to one shot which can be pretty difficult to achieve.
