Well, that escalated quickly

What’s that expense (or expenses) that you might do regularly, and at the end of the year you sort of try to wrap your head around how much you spent on it, and think “ Fuck me, that escalated quickly”

For me it’s laser. hair. freaking. removal!

Like, I don’t think there’s a part of I haven’t lasered (probably my eyelids, my lashes and top of my head ) and I feel much better for it as I love having the softest skin and look like a newborn mouse, but I did a bit of a calculation and we are talking thousands

It freaking escalated so quick … and I’m appalled

Also, furniture shopping. For F sake, please god,

destroy all my credit and debit cards cos I can’t continue waking up at 4.30 AM with the sudden urge to buy some new furniture that I’m not sure I actually really need ….

Anyway, over to you kids! X

Depends. I tend to have my own little trends that I'll spend lots on and then on something else another time.

I'm fairly decent with my money overall, I'd save lots more if I didn't have these bursts of buying things.

House upgrades

PC upgrades

Things for my dogs

Things for myself

Rarely ever all at once though, just, as I say, pockets throughout the year.

Vehicle running costs, mainly the fuel. Thousands a year. Can't do without vehicles though so it is what it is.

God, how can I forget hair, with bleaching and highlighting and hair masks and straighteners etc. It’s a mini investment

Camera bags!

I start off with one bag, hen end up getting more lenses so need a bigger bag. Then decide i need to scale down a bit so buy a slightly smaller bag. Then decide I need a bag for little city trips, then a bigger bag for overnight jobbies. Then i see a fancy one (damn you Billingham) so end up buying that too.

Anyone want to buy a camera bag?

People always say ‘ah but you have short hair’ it’s an upkeep and a half, I was tempted to shave it off but haven’t braved it yet x

I know people who own horses, some even multiple.

Like, WHY? Why do it to yourselves?

Ps: they are beautiful creatures

My hobby. It involves competing and with entry fees, equipment, training fees, diesel and sometimes hotel stays…. adding it up each year is painful.

Camberley occasionally doncaster

Moved into a new flat before Christmas, and I don't hang about. Kitchen fitter turning up in 2 weeks, carpets done, floor hallway being sorted. I don't dare look at the bills just yet.

Motorcycles and accessories / parts.

I own 9 of them 5 of which I ride quite regularly and the others are in a state of restoration or waiting to be repaired. I can't resist a bargain bike.

Yorkshire

Everything these days, from car expenses to getting jobs done at the house. I can't believe some of the quotes I get. From plumbers to electricians and gardeners to decorators they certainly know how to pump up those bills and empty my bank account. I am considering training as a plumber but I am not sure how good I would be at playing hard to get for a start, never mind charging a small fortune just to change a tap washer or god forbid fit a new tap

Cars. The sheer running costs of the toys are sometimes obscene. I do my best not to add it all up as I’d be horrified I think
