I'm a recently retired Midwife and I'm utterly horrified.

The misinformation is dangerous, shocking, utterly frightening and completely wrong. There will be women watching who will be traumatised.

Yes understand where your coming from , but for someone who witnessed a horrific birth ( my son) it sort of rang true in places

The things they showed were completely wrong.

Tying an umbilical cord with filthy shoelaces is so dangerous for the baby but still this awful myth exists.

Breaking the symphesis pubis in order to get a baby out is never done. It will get the practitioner struck off and baby clavicle are often broken unintentionally during birth, moreover when performing maneuvers to free the baby from a shoulder dystopia which is often the result of interference with the physiological birth process.

Was ok have friend who raves about the books and seen him live so felt had watch.

Some bits I enjoyed and recognised aspects of esp dark humour but then other parts about 3/4 I just watched cos wanted see how ended and felt like ripping my own teeth out.
