"Buy 85% or higher cocoa chocolate. It has far less sugar and after a short while the "normal" stuff just tastes wrong somehow. Have a look at Montezuma or Hotel Chocolat or Aldi who all sell quality high percentage chocolate which is really delicious. ![]() To be fair most of the chocolate I eat is that but still too much. I will try harder ![]()

"Do a week abstaining. You can have hot chocolate drinks, fruit, cereal bars, chocolate milk shake, but when you fancy chocolate have something else instead. Once you've done a week, give yourself a treat. Think about what you can buy as a reward. Then try for another week. I managed to do a month without and now when I have chocolate it tastes really sweet, so I'm not that bothered about it anymore. If I can do it, you can, because my will power isn't good. ![]() Thank you so much. And yes I did not particularly like the sweet taste before so hopefully I can ho back to that. ![]()

"to stop eating so much chocolate. I hardly used to eat any, then started during lockdown to eat a lot more and now is verging on obsession. I have done tests and sugar levels are fine, but still .... Anything that helps like 'patches', like the ones you get for quiting smoking for example? " I can help if you want. Any chocolate that has orange in it I can safely dispose of in an environmentally friendly way.
