Just had some. Urghh. Why do some of you get so excited about it?

Give me spuds any day instead.

No. But I don't put that in Bolognese either. I would use pork mince and pancetta in a carbonara

In the middle

Pasta is just a vessel used to get the sauce in your mouth plus it’s a stodgy carb which is used as a filler, I had some today with my home made bolognese sauce

There was another thread with all the different types of pasta and different shapes which are great for variety of dishes. These days I like the little pasta rice(orzo). It's very versatile. I particularly like it in oven dishes like meatballs or chicken, beef or lamb. It's just delicious. I am sure I put a recipe on the 'Favourite recipe' thread. If not, I will put it on.

I just checked and I did put the orzo pasta and chicken recipe in the Favourite recipe' thread. Try it, it's one of my favourite
