Something Life changing and worthwhile …

If you were going to something truly life changing and worthwhile for somebody let’s say a complete stranger what would it be ?? Something serious that you could potentially really do.

Not to blow my own trumpet but I think I have done something life changing. I've listened, advocating and helped mums when they're struggling to breastfeed. Yes, it may sound insignificant but some mums feel worthless when they can't do something that looks so simple for their own child.

Having a listening ear, someone that takes their time to help you through it, cheers you when you grasp it but is always there if you fall back down again. I've supported mums who have gone on to support other mums. That's mind blowing to me

I’d love to have the time to help elderly people with little or no family, i find it hard to imagine at that stage of life being alone/lonely.

It doesn't take much to make someone feel like there is someone who cares..... for the last few years I've had one of the local home care companies come round and pick up baked goods once a week.... they give them to their clients and apparently it brings smiles

I do the extra bits on my shopping and put them in the donations and the toys for kids at Christmas and would do more like we all probably would and should.

My mum did this when my dad died

My family know exactly what my wishes are and I hope that what ever is left of me can be used for someone else's misfortune

How about now?

Put £1000 into premier african minerals shares... NOW.

Next friday you will have made £700 profit..

May not be life changing but its its a nice free gift from Gatz.

Leave that £1000 in, I would then say take that £700 and tell you where to put that... in 24 months you will be sat on £20k minimum

Knowing that his gift gave others the opportunity to live an enriched life got me through the dark times

My family knows this is my wishes too, they can have it all

That’s not insignificant at all, that’s an amazing thing to give someone.

Breast feeding success or failure can make such a difference to mental health

I wish there'd been someone like you around when I had my children. I struggled to feed them, never having enough milk. I was distraught when the health visitor told me to just give them formula

We did this too, unfortunately they couldn't use anything because he'd had a cancerous tumour on his lip

I really don’t have much.

I think the best thing I could give someone is my time. It might just be to listen, but if somebody was struggling and there was something I could do to help, I totally would.
