I like to pay on a date or a meet, but I'm not going to have a great show of it. It's just nice and how our generation was brought up. I think nowadays it may be less and less common as quines find it a bit disrespectfull for men to insist on paying. I definitely insist on paying more than my fair share, but that's in life in general. No one wants a name for being tight or a round dodger in the pub. I'm fully the other way and buy drinks to people I know fine well I'll never get back from, but it's my pleasure.
