Or do you scar so badly theres no openness and no way in ... " Yes, it can be possible to get over trauma, with the right work. Trauma is stored in the amygdala, and the amygdala holds emotional trauma, but not the context. There are some ways to help this somewhat, like deep brain stimulation for example. | |||

"I don't think you can ever get truly over trauma I believe they're certain coping mechanisms that help but a certain "trigger" can put you right back as if you were in that situation again (I'm only speaking from experience though) no offence intended" Have you looked into EMDR? | |||

No I havent heard of EMDR." I haven’t tried it myself, but I know someone who and, and she was impressed. It’s Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. Worth a look? | |||
