Brownies are usually the safe option. But if I’ve had the baker’s cake before and I like it then I might be more adventurous

Somewhere In The Ether…

Cheesecake

A lovely Victoria sponge with oodles of fresh icing on top would go down a treat to. Also, Butterfly cakes - filled to the brim with butter icing.

With enough lemon on it to make your face turn inside out. Delicious.

It has to be a Lyons Victoria Sponge Cake because I'm feeling retro and nostalgic. And I do miss those "E" numbers.

My chocolate chip cookies because they are banging! Then a rich chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream filling and topped with chocolate ganache, a zesty lemon cake oozing with lemon syrup and filled with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream, a salted caramel cake with homemade salted caramel and vanilla buttercream filling and an apple cake filled with cinnamon buttercream and apple compote. Oh! And a Black Forest cake! Delish!

I bloody love cake!

C x
