I can't understand it either. Maybe they buy on the never-never, though how they afford that plus the insurance I don't know. I'm in a 2 adult, 1 car house and it's a small car at that.

|I'll do my best.

I'm 55 going on 56

Still can't afford an MGB GT.

Let's not talk about MINIs

Lada's all went home thanks to Brezhnev

And Rover P6 was fucked before Rita and Sue were ever born, not to mention Bob too.

Hope that helps.

If you see a teenager driving a BMW M4 or RS3 in Gainsborough then they probably stole it.

I have a friend in his mid 20's who earns 60k and works from home with no costs of owning a car or travel to work

IT Development jobs keep a lot of younger folks well away from the breadline

I had all the best cars when I was in my 20s, that was along time ago when I had good looks and gravity wasn't against me. Hmmm sorry about that.

Escort mk3 rs turbo and mk4 rs turbo and my first ever etype jaguar. I worked bloody hard everyday, when my m8s was in pub I was working my man meat off,,,,, or fook that's why I have only 6 inch now

Drug dealers, stolen, cat c or cat d, company car, live with parents and have a lease.

Or they have a decent job and little outgoings, a lot of these youngsters seem to just go to the gym, no beers.

No, you're not right. You prioritised a house, they prioritised a car. It's got nothing to do with you how they live their life.

Worthing

Some sporty cars can be cheap to buy (specially older high mileage ones) but still have expensive repair, running, service costs. They probably run them into the ground while on parents insurance.

South Lakes

It's not so much the cost of the car, I worry they can't afford the insurance therefore maybe don't have any.
