Bedford (or anywhere beginning with B..!?)

... is it all about fate or is it free will?

Are you of the opinion that 'what will be will be', or do we make our own choice and have the free will to then control the fate that comes our way ...?

We are going 'deep' this evening ... scuba gear at the ready

It's a 50/50 split. We really want the control of making our own destiny but fate and chance often interfere. It's about how we manage that as to how we feel.

Somewhere In The Ether…

I believe that we mould our own fate but that it is invariably, directly affected (whether for better or for worse) by those around us.

I think we control our own destinies and it’s not guided by a higher power or anything else.

Mainly it's down to the will of the flying spaghetti monster. But as he/she is normally d*unk....it does not really matter.

Life gives us chances and paths we can take, it's up to us to choose which one is best for us.

We have a fair bit of control over our lives and the direction we choose to go but we can't and shouldn't try to figure out why othere act like they do or do what they do, put more energy into our own destiny.

What will be is what you let it be.

We may not be in control of what situations come our way but how we deal with them is up to us

Both powerful forces, but if your free will is strong enough, it can bend fate.

Sounds like a cop out for people who don’t want to take responsibility for their actions.

Life for me is what you make it. As others have said, you choose your path, for me fate isn't predetermined.

Every now and then a curve ball comes along though.
