Meets that never happen

CHICHESTER

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced this.

You chat to a couple of a singleton and get on well, both get along well and are up for meeting, messages are exchanged along with pics then boom......no messages and blocked

I'm very careful with wording as quite important to relay the right impression

Why do couples and singletons suddenly ghost you

Horrid isn't it but men do it too, everybody does and there's no figuring out why, just got to move on.

It's frustrating. I could of used those messages on someone who isn't a stitch up

When someone stops talking to us we assume that we said something they didn't like or they suddenly decided to read our profile and realised we don't offer what they want.

It's not nice but it's one of those things that has to be filed in "life stuff you can't do much about"

I guess everyone does it for similar reasons.

They change their minds. Or meet someone else. Or get cold feet. Or get found out by a partner.

Any manner of reasons. It's rude whomever does it but it's part of online meeting, sadly.

Cold feet, just a fantasy becoming too real, found a better option, never intended to meet

There’s many reasons. And none you can control. You can only control yourself. So keep your head up and try not let the actions of others get you down

To add to this, it could also be absolutely nothing to do with you. Could've had enough the site, life issues or not enough headspace.

Usually South, Currently North

Could be worse, they could actually arrange a meet and then not bother showing up. Three guys did that this weekend for stuff I had planned just the day before.

Good point, sometimes “ghosting” isn’t even a malicious thing

We’ve no idea what happens in peoples lives behind their profile. A death in the family might draw someone attention away from fabs for a while

Don’t assume or knock yourself

Yep .. seems to be such a norm now I actually expect it. Some have such little patience for the fact that others work lots of hours hence why we are on here at all. They rearrange on their behest but when you delay things is you that's "wasting their time" ... I've never stood anybody up in my entire life.. but on here you don't even get that far !!!! Lol

Seems I'm not alone which is a bonus if you can call it that.

We only want some fun like everyone else.

I'll keep on and may get some action soon. Had two decent meets one with a couple and one with a single lady

I'm hungry for more lol

Your obviously doing something right! Many people sit on here for years without a meet. Good for you!

Calderdale innit

I admit that I've done it myself, when I felt it was going nowhere or they said something that was a red flag to me.

So I have had it happen and can only assume, they didnt feel it was going anywhere, as some meet much faster than I do. Or they got a better offer or life got in the way.

Try not to dwell on it op, but I appreciate it can be frustrating.

Obviously us singletons should make the first move to arrange a meet but if not going anywhere surely one of the two should say something

I'm here if you want a piece ladies and couples. I'd love a message and for someone to ask me first lol

Yes happens too many times on here, unfortunately it's a chance we all take for a meet.
