3:1 to Sega so far! I can’t believe it. There be some fellow Super Nintendo fans. Shall we all at least agree that Street Fighter II is a much better fighting game than Mortal Combat?

Had a Mega Drive at the time as you could rent games for it. We used to rent a game for a week between us and each person had it for a day. We couldn't afford to buy the games at £40 a pop as kids. Nintendo didn't allow you to rent their games which made the choice to get a Mega Drive an easy one. However, the SNES had Super Mario World, probably the best game ever. I still love Streets of Rage though, my favourite game on MD.

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

Mega Drive (Genesis) and SNES.

Both had amazing quality titles but I gravitated more to Sega.

SNES had better RPG's with the exception on Phantasy Star IV

SEGA had better shooters

SEGA had Streets of Rage

Sonic was better than Mario

SNES has Zelda and Super Metroid

SEGA had Mortal Combat with blood!

SNES had a better Street Fighter II port

I could go on but don't want to geek out too much
