Friend's clothes

I kinda realised I love to have clothes that were originally from other people. This person's coat, that friend's jumper, that other one's socks… It's nice to then think about those moments and those people whenever I use their clothes (now mine huehue). 98% of the times I ask for permission or for an exchange but there's been a couple where I have conveniently forgotten that I had their stuff lmao. Am I the only one that does this?

What a lovely thought, to attach wonderful memories to them.

I wish someone would want my clothes.

I often think that I'm the amalgamation of the people around me, that they all in a way hang out with eachother through me, and the wardrobe stuff is an embodiment of that I suppose. They are all great people so I count my blessings. But on a cheekier side, I also do it 'cause I like free stuff huehue

That makes perfect sense. Social butterflies tend to be likely to do this, now that you've mentioned it.

Never been called a social butterfly before but I guess since recent times it applies

Haha no I've never asked for friends clothes though I did give a load of size 6 and 8 stuff to my best friend in my early 20s when I suddenly grew tits and an ass and accepted I'd never fit in them again but she was still tiny.

My local friends also do an annual clothes shop where we all bring things to trade with each other and anything unwanted goes to the charity shop. I've gotten some great things from them. One of them is a stylist for a TV drama so she brings some great stuff

You know, that does not sound like a crazy idea - like a sort of clothes share kind of thing with friends. You borrow and mix and match clothes amongst your group of friends. Can save you lots of money too. You need to be good at returning them though or you will soon be kicked out of the group

I wear black 90% of the time, with the occasional bit of grey, khaki or beige.

So if I'm ever in any kind of pattern or other colour, you can pretty much guarantee I stole it off my sister . She's a lot more adventurous than me clothes-wise so I like to use her as inspiration.
