So there are 2 ways to do it….

Who avoids people that aren’t both?

Is being meet verified enough?

If someone is photo verified does that make you feel more trusting?

If you’re not photo verified, how come? Don’t you trust the site enough to put face pics on?

I’m just curious on people’s thoughts

Photo verification means nothing to us. It can be easily manipulated by anyone who’s good with photo editing software.

We aren’t photo verified and probably never will be but our meet veris are there for anyone to read.

We take everyone with a pinch of salt until we’ve chatted for a while & met, had our fingers burnt by a single lady that was verified & photo verified but still turned out to be a man! No idea how they managed it but after we found out, reading back the messages it was so obvious that a bloke was writing them given the content.

None can be trust worthy from what I have found in the past

I have been stood up in the past by someone who has over 100 vers and use to put on tv/ts nights

Photo veris mean nothing to me as I've seen a fair few profiles that are fake that have photo veried. There must be some way they do it.

Other veris I take with a pinch of salt and I tend to make my own mind up about people rather than rely on veris others have given. The only real reason I pay any heed is to know when to avoid someone if they are veried by some who I know would just cause drama if you met someone they have met or meet. Those situations I prefer to avoid.

Im only photo verified. Appears im at a disadvantage now as so many people want meet verified, which i get for the purposes of security and trust etc.However until im lucky enough for a meet my habds are tied

Yes you do with user name written then take a mugshot

No, you can do a full length nude with the sign if you don’t want to show your face

I only look at verified profiles really.

Though I'm verified it may help me meet at some point in the future.

I can imagine people who aren't verified having a much harder time of it.

Tbf I am finding this whole thing a bit pointless really.

If so I can understand maybe how it can help price a couple is two people male/female etc & both are aware that they are on the website but for single guys i wouldn't say it's necessary as why would you pretend to be a single guy & the same goes for single women (although I have heard as guys posing as females but again what's the point, you'll soon get caught out at a meet)

The only thing I'm interested in is meet verified, and preferably a 1-1 meet rather than a club as it shows they've turned up as planned rather than bumped into each other at a club

I don't think it proves much if I'm honest. I had two veri's, they left and so did their verifications.

They could've said I turned up d*unk or dressed like a pirate and only responded if they spoke in a pirate accent. Who knows! But I still have that tick!

One of the buggers did came back, asked for me to verify them again and didn't do one for me. Very rude

Ideally, we like to engage with those who are at the very least photo verified, although our preference is photo and meet verified. Cam verifications do little for us.

The photo verification is important to establish very basic trust that it’s a real profile. (If you were determined we’re confident it could be faked though.) we like a meet verification as it adds a further layer that they are less likely to be time wasters. We aren’t really interested in the blow by blow accounts of meets though. Also, verifications from a single profile belonging to couple on the couple account ring alarm bells.

Everyone has to begin somewhere, so we are more relaxed (but hyper vigilant) with new profiles, but would expect photo verification not too long after joining. Perhaps this who are not at least photo verified should have reduced site access?

The ultimate best thing if u are intending a meet is to hop on cam in chat rooms u can see exactly who you are talking to! Or whatsapp if u are willing to give number I used to insist on this on pof dont have to b explicit just face to say hi otherwise I would not meet of there x

Cam veris mean very little unless you are proving a couple are a couple & both are aware that they are on the site, doesn't show anyone is reliable and have turned up to at a meet as planned

How is it not real? There's a person behind every profile.

A very high percentage aren't 100% honest. Pics are cropped, photoshopped. Age might be a month out. Height an inch or more out.

Sexuality, location may be wrong for various reasons. Etc etc.

Yes, this is correct. But I've seen several female/couples profiles which have their verification photo's in their public gallery. These days it's so easy to download these images, alter them and reupload them. Admin aren't infallible and have busy enough jobs so some of these dodgy accounts are going to make it through. It's pointless as they'll never get a meet for obvious reasons. But it's a right royal pain for whoever they're messing about.

I don’t care for photo or cam verified , profiles have been cam verified despite using my photos …

A very popular current forumite has one of his very popular pic plagiarised by some obscure but verified profile … so that confirms my opinion that those type of verifications are meaningless.

On the other ends , several verifications in person tells me that the persons lived long enough to write it … and thats all I care about, happy to make my mind up about everything else

Glad to read the more recent contributions, not fishing, just relieved that there are women on here that will at least entertain the idea of talking with, maybe meeting, ‘unverified’ men. Not expecting it to become suddenly easier though

I've always said that the way a verification is written and displayed is often a good filter in itself.

I used to think that it didn't matter if someone was verified or not because we all have to start somewhere. I've changed my opinion now since witnessing how certain profiles have manipulated others into verifying them and are now seen as legitimate despite their many indiscretions and predatory behaviour on previous profiles.

We don't reply unless real (not made up) veris are shown. Be aware there are loads of profiles with fake veris, experience will teach you how to spot them.

I'm not photo verified and if someone chose not to meet me because of that, I'm cool with it. I'm at a point now where I'm just done with having my time wasted so they would have to be meet verified for me to even consider going there.

Exactly! We all have to start from zero. I think that we are all clever enough to make the difference between a fake profile and a real one after we exchanged a few messages.
