"I think how someone gets up days a lot about them as a person or maybe more specifically where they are right now Do you get up - after hitting snooze a couple of times - pretty much when the alarm goes off - no alarm - get up when you wake - usually before the alarm goes off - often too late , lots of snoozing " I get up when the cat decides he needs to be fed.

"2 snoozes and then I get up. Usually 3am or 5am these days… " Why so early? I like rising early but the snooze thing just makes me feel worse tbh....

"I have 5 alarms set for the morning, all on different tones. I normally don’t hear the first two and the tones need to be changed fortnightly or else I sleep through them all together. I’m not a morning person and have to wake up slowly. I can’t just bounce out of bed the minute eyes open or else I may pass out, historical thing, but this way works for me. " Have you tried a sunrise alarm clock? Mine really helps in winter.

It’s rarely dark in London, I don’t use blackout curtains and well I can sleep in the brightest of lights. Thanks for the suggestion though

"Depends on what day it is. Working day, 3 alarms at 6.30 and eventually wake up groggy at 'TOO FRICKIN EARLY'!! Weekend, wide awake at 5am WTAF?!?! " Weekend wakes up I was up at 7am.. SEVEN AM!! And whilst everyone else slept I went and walked the dogs. What was I thinking. Why was I up so early and why isn't it that easy during the week.

"I set my alarm ten mins earlier so I can have a sneaky snooze if I feel like it " ^^^This. I set the alarm with a snooze or two built in. I'm pretty rubbish at getting up early

"I am always awake and rarely use alarms. I only use alarms if I am getting up extra early for something (like travelling for work) and then I feel like I have slept with one ye open in fear of missing said alarm " Exact same for me. Rarely need the alarm clock and on the nights there I use it, I keep waking up and checking what time it is (I sleep like a log on normal nights)

I had 3 months gardening leave about 10 years ago, and after 15 years of 6am starts I was really liking forward to some epic lie-ins. Imagine my disappointment when I realised that I was incapable of staying in bed past about 7am.

"Having spent most of my working life in early start jobs sadly the early rise habit has stayed with me into retirement, my body clock dictates I rise at 5am, even at weekends I have developed one routine in my twilight years, when I wake up I push my arms up towards the ceiling then out to each side, if I do not touch wood I know that I am still alive " Don’t reach down then! Might confuse matters

"When I was going into the office, I would get up as soon as my alarm hit. Since working from home, hit the snooze a couple of times because my laptop is literally 6 feet away from me" Same
