A total one off. The most thoughtful, funny and caring little girl you could meet. I might add unlike her brother who will break some hearts she seems to have inherited all her looks from me

I feel more than think, possibly, when I think about my kids. With #1 it is a desire to protect and nurture and a fairly strong sense of guilt, sadly. Not trendy to admit it but I became depressed after he was born and I struggled. Much better now, a fair few years on, and I love him so much.

Lovely thread. Thanks for sharing.

On a mooch

An inquisitive, caring, loving, funny soul who has fought through his struggles and thriving. On the flip side , older than his years, worries about things he really shouldn’t be. A work in progress to a more positive outlook.

An Angel x

Haha, she’s not really, but my nanna said disabled children are angels on loan, and it became her nickname.

She’s taught me what it’s like to love unconditionally, she’s frustrated me, amazed me, captivated me, and she made me a stronger and more empathetic person…

But if you ask me to describe her after two hours sleep, when she’s kicking off, demanding toasties, waking her younger sister…I’d say she’s a nightmare! But she’s my beautiful nightmare x

Viv xx

Sending love to your poor traumatised soul, I’ve no idea how our bodies tolerate it.

Eh, wanna hear something else horrific

Few days after giving birth, I tried to remove a small ball of tissue paper while on the loo, only it wasn’t tissue, it was very attached, and was actually the knot off the stitches.
