…..that mean so much.

Been chatting today to a lady about something. Sadly I’ll never be able to meet her as she’s 100 miles away, but just being able to chat to a lady, in a lovely friendly way, and exchanging a couple of photos has meant so much to me and really brightened my day.

A 100 miles shouldn't be a barrier if you really want to meet someone.

I started chatting to someone over a 100 miles away 3 and a 1/2 years ago on here. We are getting married in 3 Months so don't let distance put you off.

And I would add to what others have already said.

100 miles is nowt if you’re willing to put the effort in.

It’s a day out, a couple of hours drive, a short train ride. A halfway meet for both of you is an hour away.

Tbf it’s a bit further than Manchester to Birmingham and that’s currently showing as 2 hours plus on my iPhone maps app right now, so unless Susan puts you on a promise that’s a 4 hour round trip for what might not even result in a leg trembler. And that’s assuming he has a car.

Yeah, you’re right OP, I’d bin Susan off too

That’s it exactly. It was over something totally different, never to arrange anything. Probably sounds daft but it’s really touched me.
