Finding lumps and bumps early gives you a better outcome in being treated. Just wanted to remind everyone to have a check if you haven't done for a while. X

Good advice. Also, don't forget men can get breast cancer as well as women. My dad had it when I was young but thankfully caught it early and had it removed.

Any changes that aren't normal too, not just lumps

I was 16 when I first found a lump in my breast. Luckily nothing sinister but it was a full day of tests in the breast clinic. You knew when someone had bad news just from seeing how pale they looked coming out of the room

Good call yes look for any changes not just lumps, glad you were all good, must have been scary at such a young age.

It was horrible. My mum came with me so she was probably more worried. Thankfully it was just a cyst which they managed to drain with a needle during an ultrasound. Needles through areola into your breast doesn't feel very nice

Really painful, I can imagine I had my nipple's pierced a fortnight ago, never thought it would have hurt that much, so being 16 I shudder to think.
