I think with valentine's day approaching it has reminded me of how there's often lots of talk about how to romance women but not very much about how women can romance a man.

To be totally honest, I’d like nothing more than a compliment on how good I’m looking. I’m not great at the receiving of gifts because I’m impossible to buy for.

Dunno about romance but I think men need to feel needed. Despite moaning sometimes, I know Mr likes it when I ask him to help or fix stuff. We're kinda traditional in our roles though.

Darn. Only on special occasions/days?

This is why it would never have worked for us

Just be kind and considerate

Make me feel loved and appreciated

I'm not really one for being wooed or romanced

Outside of the standard, tried and tested cliché stuff? I'm not really sure to be honest.

It is little things that are unique to me, her, and us as a couple than big grand romantic gestures that tend to be though of as musts in the eyes of society.

Being appreciated everyone now and again for something, it can be as simple as a thanks, but it’s the way that thanks is given. A couple of weeks ago someone sent me a text out of the blue to thank me for some support I’d provided and it means a little more to me when it’s like that as the person has taken the time

Being Welsh we have St Dwynwen's and valentine's. So I do one he does the other.

I think it's super important for both sides of the relationship to put the same amount of effort in. To making the other feel wanted.

Attention, closeness, love and easy going attitude (not moaning over petty things).

I'd say just continue to be his rock like he is for you and trust me you both feel loved that way so yeah just being there for each other is enough , with little surprises and treats along the way

why??

I didn't say I wouldn't handle a situation where they are out all the time, it's just I'm not pushy to ask for it,, and if they were no work would get done and my golf would suffer, no no posh a few special days will do,, and maybe a full day on Tuesdays
