Tim Vine. He's not trendy, he's not controversial, he just tells jokes.

Cheshire

Never found Sean Lock funny, apart from ‘carrot in the box’ that was television gold.

Paul Smith from Liverpool his banter with the crowd is brilliant.

Ross Noble.

Bob Mortimer.

Dave Gorman.

Bill Bailey, yes I’ve seen the MOTD theme, genius

Billy Connolly.

Dave Allen.

Mark Thomas, saw the Red Door tour, funny and informative.

Quite a few more and also Jimmy Carr ….see other thread

In the west.

Surely Billy Connelly has to be up there. Many of today's comedians tell a story just as he did all those years ago.

^^ Tim Vine is very very funny, I saw him at the Festival a few years ago, I had trouble trying to breathe whilst laughing and trying not to see myself.

Dave Allen, back in the day was funny, just not entirely PC.

Lost Voice Guy is funnier than all the others out there, and Daliso Chapondra also from BGT

Can’t stand likes of Kevin Bridges, Jimmy Carr, etc… they are as funny as a chocolate kettle

"not Jimmy Carr... hes in trouble!!"

He's an arsehole. He has all day every day to think up material but had to resort to that.

Peter Kay is still the funniest by far.
