The club is appallingly run. You buy world class talent and ruin their careers. There’s something fundamentally wrong in that dressing room.

He told Lingard on deadline day he could leave. The board changed their mind after asking for extortionate fees for him. He could have left earlier in the window but they priced him out of a move.

The greatest if you ask me. People can argue all they want about other managers being better but none of them could win the league with that team in Fergie’s last season.

Yes being told you can’t leave your job to further your career is terrible treatment no matter how much you earn. It’s a World Cup year and he’ll barely start a game therefore won’t make the England squad.

He should have went to West ham last summer then if he really cared about his career.

I really don’t know. It needs a rethink from top to bottom. Manager after manager is failing so the problems either lie with the board or the type of players playing for the club.

Based on his form at West Ham and the form of Manchester United’s other player he probably thought he’d get more game time.

I can’t stand his personality but he’s a good player and he would instantly improve any team outside the top 6.

Yes I would go with the players.sure egos take over and I believe players don't play for certain managers. Rooney a couple of seasons away to take over. He is worth monitoring.

They paid 80 odd million for Jadon Sancho, can't see how he thought he'd get game time.

If he keeps Derby up then I can’t see why a bigger club wouldn’t take a chance. I think if Lampard fails at Everton they’ll go for Rooney but maybe after that Man U would be a good move for him.
