Can't live without butter on toast, crumpet's and for cooking, we have tried alternatives but they just don't do it for us.

Do you use butter or alternatives? Are there any alternatives that come close to the real thing? X

Naturli Vegan Block - scrumptious. Seems quite healthy too, based on shea butter.

As a butter-loving vegan, it's really saved my life. Would go through butter at quite a rate and couldn't stand any alternatives till I found this.

Coconut butter and olive oil are both fine too.

Never put ours in the fridge we just leave it in a butter dish, it doesn't have time to go off, think the salt preserves it. X

Lurpak is my number 1 and Lidls Danepak is a nice copycat.

Not a fan of margarine or alternative spreads but the only one thats came close to butter for me is Flora butterly.

I've never been tempted by the taste of anything but butter, it's not bad for you unless you eat it by the block, it's mostly natural unlike many alternative spreads more suitable for lubricating your cars steering joints.

If you just use it for toast and crumpets it's fine. Unless you're having toast and crumpets every meal.

I was having butter in sandwiches, spraad all over leeks and aspagir. My cholesterol went very high but now I limit my butter use.
