I’m currently binge watching every Top Gear episode and it struck me (again) just how gorgeous some of the female audience members are. There are even forums dedicated to it.

I know it was deliberate behaviour by the producers to wrangle them all to the front and I expect the girls knew that at the time. But here’s the thing - I wonder if any of them know they are still lusted after and talked about after all these years. And, if they’re now married, I wonder if their partners know?!

There are at least two I want to marry. Scratch that - 32!! Haha

Do fanboys really lust after the females in the audience? Yeah it’s noticeable that the good lookers are clearly placed to be in camera shot, but I didn’t really know there was a “scene” lusting after them and talking about them? (I am of course aware of the irony that I’m talking about them as I type!)

Yep... pretty girls to the front... my Dad and I were in the audience... I knew my cars... eventualky they got on board with Sabine... took the fuckers long enough... they missed out on a whole generation of ladies who appreciate cars

I’m one of those people who always notices stuff in the background, especially if I’m watching stuff on repeat. I must have watched most episodes a dozen times.

Trouble is, now I’ve noticed, my brain just goes straight there lol.

I should add this wasn’t intended as a thread to advocate objectification of women. More to publicly wonder whether these unwitting ‘stars’ know they have a following.
