Talking to a lad at work talking about shampoos our parents used on our heads he mentioned vosene I remember we used washing up liquid when my mum and dad were skint . Can you remember your shampoos .

My Grandparents used both! Grandad used Vosene and Grandma used Timotei

The smell of Imperial Leather will always be associated with my Grandparents too

I was addicted to the smell of vosene when I was pregnant with my eldest. Carried a bottle with me everywhere

We quite often used washing up liquid when I was a kid. Posh toiletries where a luxury

Pears soap and imperial leather for soap.

Hubby still uses vosene shampoo, he says it still smells the same and I can remember using linco beer shampoo used to come in a bottle shaped like a beer barrel don't know if it still does. X
