It depends on circumstances and context. Some women, in the heat of sex, may want to be called that; but on a bus to work at 7.45am on a wet Tuesday it may be inappropriate.

it depends if it feels right in the moment and definitely need to put emphasis on how it its used rather than the word itself. for example she enjoys it when i call her names like that but only between us and during play, not outside of it.

Context, intent and circumstances can certainly make the difference for a lot of people in the use of such words.

Often times it can be about claiming back the word, embracing the use and taking a lot of the power somebody thinks they have by using it as an insult.
