What’s your fave musical instrument?

Or what’s the sort of sound that you can’t help but love?

For me it’s the piano, although I can’t play it. I just love how it can hold its own in any genre of music and if it’s played delicately or with greater velocity it owns the stage.

Although the same could be said for drums and I also love these.

How about you?

Cello, played well, is incredibly moving. Something like Dvorak’s cello concerto in B Minor - gives me goosebumps.

The Hammond organ through a Leslie speaker makes glorious sound when used well. Luke

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

Bach - Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major, Prélude

Vivaldi - Bassoon Concerto in F Major, RV 487: II. Largo

Synth - anything by The Midnight

Bass - on Paul young's "Come Back & Stay" & "Everytime You Go Away". It's awesome on the beginning of & throughout "Wherever I lay My Hat" - my fave very blues/soulful!

Bass - Any of Geezer Butler's bass work on any Black Sabbath track.

Guitar - Any of Dave Gilmore's playing.

Op, there is too much music to reference what I think is ace. It would be a massive list!

I like all types of music and I'm very rock/indie centred but for sheer versatility it would have to be the synthesizer

A world all of his own

Piano. Can go from something like Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata which is very melancholic to something like Nina Simone's My Baby Just Cares For me which is really light and upbeat.
