How good are you at ignoring posts that annoy the arse off you ?

Do you have the ability to think 'tosser' and move on to the next post or do you feel the need to express your thoughts there and then ?

Or perhaps educate or re-educate or give them the benefit of your own experience in a given area ?

I think I am quite middling and it does to a degree depend on my wider mood (and how much time I have on my hands) as to what response I give / what I post.

I do, however, try my best to be civil in my responses (on serious threads at least)

All to easy to be enticed in to posts I did not want to get involved in. Experience has shown me to avoid politics, the Queen and Princess Diana... that said, I do still post on the political threads

Who knows

Only seriously comment on posts where I feel the need to vent my spleen, rest of the time its pure piss take. tend to ignore the "vanity publishing" and "knobjockey" posts

I'm just here for amusement, the occasional debate and a laugh with friends.

I comment willy nilly, but avoid political threads as I don't know enough about the subject.

in the night garden

If I got annoyed every time someone was wrong on the internet I would be a very angry (handsome bottomed) man.

It's all good, take it with a pinch!

By expressing our thoughts from time to time has got us 2 x 48hr bans since joining the forums Now we just tend to have a laugh and not get into a debate of any kind (Perky)

Sometimes I can, sometimes I can't.

Certain posters and particular topics do have a higher chance of bringing out my inner bitch though.

I'm off to find my Little Book of Calm again.

If it's a thread where I think someone is getting bullied unfairly then I tend to wade in with my handbag ahoy and fiery blue rinse ablaze.

There's certain threads I always avoid. If I feel strongly enough I'll post. If my opinion has already been said I tend to use the thumbs up thingy cos I'm too lazy to witter on myself.

Sometimes if there are _iews that are very different to mine I'll read everyone's comments and sometimes even change my mind about things.

Aw that sounds a great shame... the forums are for everybody and meant to be lighthearted fun.

How about writing a whole comprehensive reply and then thinking... what am I doing? and then not posting it.

99% of the time I choose to ignore them....if it is something that has really annoyed me then I tend to log off so I don't feel tempted to bite.
